For 500 years, on the island of Procida, the procession of Good Friday before Easter has a special meaning. Thousands of visitors arrive on the island to attend the "Mysteries", the representations of the scenes of the Passion of Christ.
This year, for the first time and because of Covid 19, the rite did not take place: a unique event, made by the testimonies of those who take part in the Procession, between melancholy for the present and hope for the future
